
Los cinco consejos para dormir y evitar el insomnio de la Universidad de Harvard
Gracias a la pandemia surgió la COVID-somnia, término acuñado para señalar los trastornos del sueño ocasionados por la presencia del coronavirus en nuestras vidas.

Pongo la cabeza en la almohada y antes de contar 5 ya me encuentro profundamente dormido , despierto al día siguiente tras una jornada de descanso reparador que me permite estar activo siempre.
Si embargo, convivo con alguien que puede despertarse unas dos o tres veces en la noche e incluso sufrir episodios de insomnio algunas veces, es por esto que me llamó poderosamente la atención la encuesta Pulso Social del Dane del mes de agosto del año pasado, en la que el 33 % de los colombianos manifestaron presentar dificultades para dormir, 18.7% mujeres y 15.4% hombres.
Y gracias a la pandemia surgió la COVID-somnia, término acuñado para señalar los trastornos del sueño ocasionados por la presencia del COVID-19 en nuestras vidas, de hecho según la Academia Estadounidense de Medicina del Sueño hubo 2.77 millones de búsquedas con la palabra insomnio en Google durante 2021.

En este panorama, un poco crítico, viene bien el artículo publicado por la Universidad de Harvard enfocado en los consejos del buen dormir, el estudio propone cinco acciones y actitudes a tener presente.
